Leading Lady Renee Robinson

Leading Lady Renee Robinson stands firm on the hope of a better tomorrow, one that is duly shaped by making godly choices today.

Born in Washington, DC, and raised in the suburbs of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Lady Renee Robinson has served for over 20 years at The People’s Community Baptist Church under the leadership of her husband, Dr. Haywood A. Robinson, III. Her many gifts have called her to provide leadership as the New Members Coordinator and co-leader of the Women’s Ministry; however, her unofficial roles are where she generously imparts compassion and wise counsel as well. Lady Renee’s serene presence speaks volumes within the membership, at community events, and while engaging visitors. Her heartening laughter, wit, and affirmations are signature traits for cultivating genuine and indiscriminate connections with people—especially in the discourse of discipleship.

At the core of Lady Renee’s beautiful essence and sparkling personality are the values of faith and family. Being rooted in God’s Word is essential for living purposeful and productive lives, something she encourages in the hearts of those in her sphere of influence. As she promotes working collectively to achieve Kingdom goals, Lady Renee is keenly aware of cultural influences and the impact of fluctuating environments on behavior. Empowering her ability to glean and lend insights that facilitate growth in her family and faith community is the combined chemistry of her spiritual philosophy, education in sociology (Hampton University, BA), professional career in the financial sector, and unquestionably, life experiences; all working for the good and God’s glory.

Desire to see women reach their full spiritual potential

Lady Renee desires to see women reach their full spiritual potential and encourages them to seek God’s pathway for becoming and achieving all that He uniquely purposed in advance for them to experience in their lives. She endorses safe spaces for women to study, grow, and dialog with the goal to foster spiritual interactions that will inevitably optimize development and equip them to navigate the complexities surrounding womanhood. Her inspiration, the Book of Proverbs, ranks first on her list of favorite Bible readings. According to Lady Renee, this book is God’s perfect wisdom, battle strategy, and healing agent for depression, low self-esteem, and lack of purpose and self-worth.

Lady Renee is fervent in advocacy for youth, beginning with family. During the time of successfully homeschooling her children, she taught them to “think like a teacher and not like a student.” They subsequently excelled academically in every area of study upon returning to public school. Parenting has a discovery phase for every season as she and her husband have learned from their three adult children, one son-in-law, and two granddaughters. Her maternal instincts are not biologically reserved; accounting for a treasured population of children that have flourished from her devout and loving spirit.

Lady Renee relishes family time, immersing in research projects, and meeting the challenges of several DIY favorites. While she is not one to chase waterfalls, becoming a published author gives a peek into Renee’s Odyssey. God has deposited several novels within her that surprise and shock even her.

When asked to share her best advice, the list was long, but worthy of a collaborative space.
